Fertilizer Bags: UV-Resistant Printed 50kg Woven Sacks
2026-11-05 10:50:00

50 kg NPK fertilizer bag with full-colour printed laminated film and sewn top

Fertilizer Packaging works harder than almost any other bag — exposed to UV light, moisture, rough handling and heavy loads from the plant to the farm. Zhejiang Saiqiang Plastic Co., Ltd. manufactures fertilizer bags engineered for these conditions, so your product reaches the field in perfect condition.

Built for Tough Conditions

Our PP fertilizer bags are woven from high-tenacity polypropylene with UV-resistant stabilization to withstand prolonged sun exposure during outdoor storage. High tensile strength and secure sewing keep the bag intact under heavy filling weights and stacking pressure.

Protection from Moisture

Fertilizer quality depends on staying dry. Our fertilizer Packaging bags can be equipped with BOPP lamination and inner PE liners to block moisture and dust, keeping granules and powders free-flowing and effective.

Custom Printed for Brand Recognition

In agriculture, farmers choose brands they recognize. As a fertilizer bag manufacturer, we offer custom fertilizer bags with vivid full-colour printing — your logo, nutrient information, usage instructions and safety labels — printed with high-quality gravure technology that resists fading.

Fertilizer Bag Specifications at a Glance

Most fertilizer orders are settled by five decisions. The table below shows what we run as standard and what each choice changes on your packing line.

Applications

Our bags are suitable for compound fertilizers, urea, NPK, organic fertilizers, seeds and other agricultural products, in sizes from 10kg to 50kg and custom specifications to match your filling line.

Choosing the Right Fertilizer Bag

Start with the fill weight, then work backwards. A 25 kg urea sack and a 50 kg NPK sack look similar on a pallet but behave differently in a drop test, because fabric weight and seam construction carry the load. For a full 50 kg fill we run 90–120 gsm PP fabric with a double-stitched bottom, and both the bottom corners and the side seams are reinforced where a heavy sack normally fails first. A 10–25 kg retail pack can go lighter without losing strength. Next, decide whether the blend is hygroscopic: urea and some NPK blends pull moisture from humid air, so a PE inner liner or a laminated outer film earns its cost during sea freight and monsoon storage, while dry granular product sold locally often needs neither. Then match the print to the surface. Photographic artwork, gradients and fine grade tables reproduce cleanly on laminated film, whereas direct printing on uncoated fabric flattens fine detail. Finally, confirm the pallet pattern — a gusseted rectangular sack stacks square and uses container space that a round sack wastes.

Common Mistakes When Ordering Fertilizer Bags

The most common error is ordering by dimension alone. Two sacks can measure identically and still fail differently, because gsm, tape quality and stitch density decide whether a 50 kg bag survives a 1.2 metre drop. The second is skipping UV stabilisation for product stored outdoors; unstabilised PP fabric embrittles after months in direct sun, and the sack then splits at the seam rather than the body. The third is approving artwork on the wrong substrate — a proof approved on paper will not match laminated film, so sign off on a sample of the actual bag. The fourth is leaving the closure to the last minute: if your packer is a valve machine, a sewn-top sack stops the line on day one.

Your Agricultural Packaging Partner

With years of export experience, we supply printed fertilizer bags and agricultural packaging to buyers worldwide with strict quality control and on-time delivery. Send your fill weight, bag dimensions and artwork and we will confirm fabric weight, closure and print method — or talk to our packaging team about your specification. Frequently asked questions

What fabric weight is right for a 50 kg fertilizer bag?

For a full 50 kg fill we run 90 to 120 gsm PP woven fabric with a double-stitched bottom. Dense, fine granules take the heavier end of that range, while prilled urea packs comfortably lower. If your filling line is rough or the sacks are stacked high in a warehouse, stay at the top of the range and add reinforced side seams.

Do fertilizer bags need UV stabilisation?

Only if the product will sit in sunlight. UV stabiliser slows the embrittlement that makes unstabilised PP fabric crack after months of outdoor storage, and it is standard for sacks stacked on a dealer's yard or beside a field. For fertilizer stored indoors and used within a season, plain fabric is usually sufficient and costs less.

Can you print photographic artwork on fertilizer sacks?

Yes, on laminated bags. A printed film is bonded to the woven core, which holds photographs, gradients and fine grade tables without the dot gain that direct printing on uncoated fabric produces. We print up to eight colours from your artwork files and send a proof on the actual substrate before production starts.

What is the minimum order quantity for printed fertilizer bags?

Custom printed fertilizer bags start from 500 pieces per size and design, which keeps a trial order practical for a new market or a new grade. Below that volume, plain bags from stock are the better option. Lead time is confirmed once artwork and bag structure are approved, and samples can be arranged first.
